Pedicure socks: Keep warm after a really cool pedicure!

Pedicure socks can come in handy in cold weather! Normally made of warmer materials such as cotton, these socks which have the toe area removed are used to keep the rest of the foot warm when the toenails need to be exposed due to them being freshly painted.

To use such socks for the entire duration of a pedicure would not be sensible though. Certain phases of a pedicure require that the whole foot be exposed and able to be worked on such as the foot soak and exfoliation phase (which moron would soak there feet with socks on??).

Once the feet have been soaked, exfoliated, cuticles worked on and other details handled, you can slip into a nice cozy pair of these socks before painting your nails and after thoroughly drying your feet. You should always put them on before beginning to paint your nails because it would be nearly impossible to slide them on with wet polish!

Some of these types of socks may only come mid sole or to the balls of the feet, while others may go as far up as mid toe. Going as high as mid toe would really help to keep the whole foot warm! The best part about many of these is that they are one size fits all.

Some of the more stylish kinds, such as the ones from Pedisavers are even able to keep the legs warms by going up on the legs nearly knee high. Some socks may even come with little separators built in to the toes. These socks really do get stylish, with many different materials, colors and styles.

There are even various crochet and knitting patterns available to make your very own socks if you have the time and ability. So if the weather is too cool to keep your feet exposed while you wait for your toenails to dry after a pedicure, try slipping into some comfy pedicure socks BEFORE you polish. Heck, you can even wear them in your normal daily routine to keep you feet warm and show off those pretty toenails!
