Some go a few steps further though by including things such as polishes and cuticle removers. These kits can vary greatly. Cuticle Sticks/Cuticle Pusher Pushing the cuticle back requires long implements after it has been softened by either a cuticle remover, softener or soaking. Metal tends to be more abrasive, while plastic and wood are less harsh on nails. Wrapping the tips of the implement with cotton helps to make it less abrasive as well.
